Meshes for structure-borne sound reduction (reduction of surface vibrations)

Possible applications are: wire meshes for metal bellows in the exhaust system, mountings for exhaust pipes isolated by an air gap, and absorbers and dampers for sources of structure-borne sound (e.g. EGR pipes).

Meshes for vibration damping

Possible applications are: mountings for ceramic monoliths or sensors in the high temperature domain, isolating elements, catalytic converters and diesel particle filters, isolating elements for screw joints, mountings for exhaust systems and elastic cushions for vibration damping. 

Meshes for filtration

Possible applications are: particulate and flame confinement in airbags and gas generators, fixing the priming charge in airbags and pyrotechnic safety systems, filtration and separation in environmental technology and process engineering, and demister applications.

Special and specific applications

From the wire to the finished part, a wire mesh with manufacturing tolerances of hundredths of a millimetre is formed using highly automated processes Wire meshes have excellent properties for damping vibrations and structure-borne sound and, furthermore, they are also able to meet the most demanding temperature requirements. Because they can be processed into a wide variety of shapes, they are suitable for a large number of applications.
